Escape; a beautifully appointed ground floor, king studio unit adjoining Ron and Sue's home, is situated on a small lifestyle block in rural New Plymouth, Taranaki, just 7.5km from the CBD. Escape is great location from which to explore Taranaki’s many attractions, or simply sit back and relax, enjoying the rural outlook, the native and tropical gardens, abundant bird life, a small flock of pet Arapawa sheep, night time stars, and having a soak in the private outdoor clawfoot bath. The studio has off street carparking, a private entrance onto its own deck and garden area, an ensuite bathroom with shower, basin and toilet. The open plan living area includes a king bed with quality linens, blockout blinds, wardrobe, sofa, dining table and chairs, free internet connection, flat screen internet based TV and sound system, Air Con heating and cooling. A self-serve continental breakfast option (if selected) including free range eggs will be available in your room for you to enjoy at your leisure. The kitchenette offers simplistic cooking facilities and kitchen ware; including electric jug, toaster, coffee plunger, dish drawer, fridge, microwave, induction hotplate, slow cooker, and a Weber Baby Q BBQ (for outdoor use). No oven.

Taranaki has recently been named as one of the "sunniest regions" in New Zealand, and Lonely Planet 2016 suggested Taranaki as one of the world’s best regions to visit. All linen and towels are provided, and the studio is cleaned prior to guests arrival. The end of stay cleaning service is included.
