our place is fully fenced with a very private car park right outside the unit. the birds like kingfishers tui and natives are everywhere. its very peaceful. We are very respectful of having a super clean unit. just recently our views have changed to sea views. they are visible within the unit. at the entrance to our property you can see panoramic views of city and bridge and cobham oval and stadium, even whangarei heads and kissing point. the short road 70m has large gravel stones. go slow please the road is completely manageable. Our driveway is fully concreted. We look forward to having you to stay its a very central location and ability to get a bus to town or walk to town basin or central Whangarei. connect 2 is surrounded by trees and sounds of nature and plenty of birds. thanks for choosing us. whether it be winter or summer this unit gives the perfect temperature with an air conditioning unit that covers the whole unit. The sun also streams in every morning. Morningside is known for all day sun. outside there is table and chairs if you want to bbq at night. The windows are tinted so although you can see out, no one can see in. This adds to the privacy. you are high up.

We have lived here in Whangarei a long time and name your interest and we can usually point you in the right direction. we know all the good places for all the age groups. We are used to hosting all nationalities. We have a young child and have all the toys and portacot and play stuff you may need. We welcome young children and the unit is ideally suited to couple with one small child. Outside has 6 vegetable beds and many fruit trees which you are welcome to help yourself too. Neighbours here are quiet and respectful of privacy and noise. birds tweet and sometimes its hard to believe you are near centre of town. We work from home so we are here most of the time and that can add to the safety of your stay. Shops like countdown are 12 min walk with a buggy. there are playing fields a three minute walk and in this field there is a childs playground. Used all the time, its small but does the job, more suited to under over 3 year old. family orientated area. if you want to get in a decent walk but not have to drive, morningside has a loop walk about 6k and again this is also used a lot. its hilly .

town basin is awesome, great walk or cycle 20min walk from here abbey caves and enormous parihaka has so many 30 mins climbs and then the view of the city cafes galore in town basin waterfall in tikipunga with a glorious short walk to it. perfect theatres like octagon usually about 40 dollar and includes a meal riverbank theatre is at the town basin Event cinema is also in town with all latest releases warehouse and kmart 12 or 15 mins walk from here every sat is the farmers market, long standing market and one of the first in nz, always busy, food awesome from 6am on sat down at the council car park other bijou markets are on every weekend and food markets or artists markets or pop up markets its always good to support the thriving local artisan community Event finder on google usually has whats on and worth checking out for kiddie fairs and music festivals jams, more formal music affairs on at forum north and more left field bands at butter factory. Free concerts and open air cinema. endless summer starts after christmas and just always has event after event to suit all flavours. usually vintage cars make an appearance every year in town centre and there is a huge vintage museum
