Opened on September 27, 1977, as Nepal’s very first five-star hotel, Hotel Yak & Yeti is located in the heart of Kathmandu at Durbar Marg . The hotel began with 120 beautifully designed rooms. Today, it has grown to offer 241 rooms, blending classic charm with modern comfort. Staying at Yak & Yeti feels like walking through a living museum. Though parts of it were lost over time, the Saraf family dedicated nearly forty years to lovingly restoring it. Today, it serves as an elegant venue for weddings, meetings, and grand events. In the waiting area, you’ll find a colorful, eye-catching gazebo created by contemporary artist Tsherin Sherpa.
