Company information
We are a family-run business with a guesthouse, restaurant and wood carving workshop and showroom. Our owner is easily mistaken as staff as he is pretty hands-on and involved in the day-to-day operations of the establishment.
Property information
The property is a Math (residence for priests and pilgrims) in olden times and this building is over 700 years old.
It has a typical Newari building layout of that time with a well in the inner compound. It also has 2 temples right inside.
Neighbourhood information
Dattreya Square is the oldest square in Bhaktapur with the famous Peacock window and is the less touristic area. It is lovely just to sit outside in the square in the evening listening to the temple bells ringing at 7pm over a cup of steaming hot milk tea.
