Welcome to our refuge! Our house used to belong to the old airport of Værøy Island. It is the perfect base for your adventure on the island. Situated on the northern plateau, you will be immersed in the wild, natural ecology. Embark on a hiking adventure or rest in natural peace, surrounded by the ocean, northern light or midnight sun.
Rico is a seasoned veteran in the hospitality business. He can take care off all your needs, just ask!
We are located in the beautiful Nordlandshagen on the north side of Værøy, 800 meters from the nearest neighbour.
The place is beautiful and secluded. All stores and further facilities are on the south side of the island. There is no collective transport to the cabin, but pick ups and drop offs can be arranged. It is also possible to walk, but this will take about two hours from the ferry. For further information on this please specify in your booking request.
