Historic Oceanfront Retreat on Averøy Wake up to sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean in a beautifully restored former Bacalao (salted and dried cod) factory, located in a quiet oceanfront setting on the island of Averøy. This rustic guesthouse combines authentic coastal history with warmth and comfort — an ideal retreat for couples and travelers seeking tranquility, nature, and a slower pace of life. The building’s long maritime history is reflected in the character of the rooms, each uniquely and brightly decorated to tell the story of the past, while offering modern comfort and breathtaking sea views.
