Welcome our cosy cabin with 2 floors, veranda with sea view! It maintains two separate bedrooms and private decking. We bougth, renovated and put new furniture in August 23.

We are a Norwegian couple, living in Asker, -with Linda growing up in these local surroundings, and her family still living close by. We bought this home for when we visit, and we rent it out short-term in between.

The house is protected from weather and is still located directly next to the sea at Sveggvika, where the idyllic old fisherman-sound Sveggesundet can take you directly into the open Atlantic Ocean in 5 minutes! Located at the very northeast corner of Averøy, home to the Atlantic Ocean Road, named the “World’s most Beautiful Road” due to its unique bridges and wild scenery. The fishing’s insane by most people’s standards, and you can choose to fish from the cliffs, you can fish from several of the bridges- or you can use a boat if you’re up for that. It is 12 minutes by car to the city Kristiansund where you have “everything”, including an airport. The local area is really perfect for walks and hiking as well as trail running- and a couple of kilometers south you’ll find Bremsnes where you can park your car - and after 10-15 minutes walk you can enjoy the Bremsnes Cave with findings from Stone Age settlement. If you’re into sports climbing, there’s a popular spot with several bolted walls 2-300 meters before you reach the cave entrance. And- you mustn’t miss the Stone & Mineral Museum, at the Bremsnes gas station- it is actually world class, and some (hardcore stone-nerds?) travel to Norway just to visit them, and possibly buy gems and crystals from their shop. It’s run by Harald and Berit (Linda’s mom), so be sure to mention where you stay to get that special treatment ;-)
