Welcome to Saltstraumen - location of the worlds strongest maelstrom. The maelstrom itself provides a stunning experience on its own, and is an essential place to visit when travelling across the North of Norway. It is also a popular fishing destination, due to its vast amount and variation of fish and sealife. Our appartment is situated under 100m from the sea of Saltstraumen. We provide two large bedrooms with double beds and individual sofabeds - wich also makes this appartment a popular choice for workers travelling together to local projects. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, dishwasher, microwave and refridgerator. Beware that the ceiling height in the appartment is somewhat low - between 196 and 198 cm at the lowest. We have outdoor table and chairs for your disposal, should you be lucky enough to experience normal summer weather. Keep your eyes open for the mooses -as they are frequent visitors of the neighborhood!
