We have been hosting guests in our cozy cabin for the past 7 years and look forward to hosting you. Our cabin offers a quiet and relaxing stay close to nature and away from the busy life. We live in the nearest house to the cabin and are available to assist you or respect your privacy as you wish.

Small rural village ca. 1.5 hours from Oslo. Ca 30 minutes from Kongsvinger. Ca 15 minutes to Skotterud where you will find grocery stores, retail shops, and a bank. Ca 25 minutes to the Swedish border. In the winter, the local athletic club prepares and maintains cross country ski tracks throughout Vestmarka. Right outside the cabin you will find a ski track around the lake. Lit ski track nearby. There are also prepared tracks throughout the forest surrounding Vestmarka. A 35 minute drive to Charlottenberg, Sweden will take you to Valfjället downhill ski resort perfect for families with young children. Parking is available at the cabin. Traveling to and from Vestmarka via bus is limited/nearly impossible.
