Kvaløya Lodge is about 18km (10 miles) from Tromsø Airport - a 20 minute drive on average and is the perfect place for relaxing in quiet surroundings with beautiful views of the fjord and mountains across the fjord. Because there is very little light pollution, the area is a fantastic place to see the Northern Lights (except during the summer months). Kvaløya Lodge is situated on a hillside about 60 metres up from the main road and has been totally renovated recently (end of 2018). Kvaløya Lodge is in the village of Futrikelv on the island og Kvaløya. The property lies up a hillside 60 metres from the main road. Parking next to the main road. It is 700 metres from the tunnel under Kvalsundet (Whale sound) whitch gives you access to Ringvassøya.
