Grotli Høyfjellshotell is a historical hotel, built in 1905 and is located just off the scenic road Gamle Strynefjellsvegen and close to the famous Geriangerfjord. This family-run hotel has kept the original timber walls and traditional interior.
With its open fireplace and antique furniture, the restaurant creates a feeling of old fashioned charm. Locally produced cheese, herbs and spices are available for purchase at Grotli Høyfjellshotell’s cosy café.
All rooms at the family-run Høyfjellshotell Grotli include a writing desk and a private bathroom. Some also have a balcony with panoramic views of the Strynefjell Mountains.
For relaxation, guests can use the sauna or head out on a fishing excursion. Grotli Høyfjellshotell is within 5 minutes’ walk of ski slopes, while the Stryn Summer Ski Centre is 19 km away.
