Our house is situated on the appropriately named “whale island” (Kvaløya), just a short 15-20 minute drive to Tromsø city centre and 12 minutes to the airport (9km). This is a perfect location for those searching for a true Arctic experience, as the house is located at the main hub of Kvaløya. Dog and Reindeer sleddings are close by (3km). It is truly is the perfect place to appreciate northern Norway.

we will help you and tell you about all the things Tromsø and the whale island can offer you.
Our house have a nice view to the harbor in Eidkjosen and the mountains around. just around the corner of the house you can walk up to a nice area with a perfect view over the whale island and the island of Tromsø. Eide handel, the local grocery shop, is just 50 m from the house. The have A wide sortiment of local food. They also provide A smal resturant with lokal food and A pizza meny. Open til 23. Best grocery shop in town.
5-10minutes walk to the bus station.
