Spinoza Suites is housed in a beautiful 19th-century mansion alongside the Singelgracht canal. It is located in a quiet street with a small park on the waterside, a hidden oasis of peace in the center of Amsterdam. The suites are designed by the Belgian architect Aldo Chermanne, who’s home base is Stockholm. The style can be described as retro classy with an edge. The use of natural materials, such as marble stone from Sweden and wooden oak floors give the suites a warm and cozy feeling. Inside the suites you will find hand-made box spring beds by Royal Auping, a complimentary minibar and lovely amenities by Marie-Stella-Maris. A cold bottle of champagne is waiting for you upon arrival!
My name is Patrick and after I studied Hotel management, I've worked in the Hotel industry for most of my career. For my job I've visited literally thousands of hotels and I've taken this experience to create my own mini-hotel in which I could embody all these experiences, with an eye for detail and perfection. I love to make our guests feel at home and give the best local insiders tips. Sttt.. don't tell!
The Plantage-Weesper neighborhood is a lively area in the center of Amsterdam. It is mainly a residential area with many restaurants and bars that locals like to visit. There is a metro station at the end of the street, which will take you to central station in only a few minutes. Main attractions such as Artis Zoo, Tropenmuseum, Theater Carré, Portugese Synagoge, Albert Cuyp and Dapper market are all in walking distance. Opposite the Spinoza Suites you can rent electric boats to explore the canals and be your own captain.
