The Outpost is our family house: we spend many weeks and weekends in the house ourselves. But some weeks we rent it to our guests. So do not expect a hotel room or standard professional accommodation. The house is situated directly at the Reeuwijkse Plassen lake Elfhoeven and offers great views and direct access at the lake. Beautiful sunsets. In summer you can canoo or swim from our property from our own bathing jetty and garden. Great terrace and garden to sit and enjoy drinks and food outside. Just open the large front doors of the house and you live outside. The sleeping room offers also great view on the lake and the stars. The house is charming, small and functional (40m2) but offers all you need and is fully equipped with kitchen, dining table, seating area with TV, bathroom and 2 sleeping rooms On with 140cm bed (2pp) and one bedroom with bunk bed (2pp). It is situated on a quiet and natural area. Own parking. Ideal area for hiking and cycling in "het Groene Hart" and canooing, fishing and swimming in the lakes. But charming cities such as Gouda, The Hague, Rotterdam and Utrecht are also nearby and worthwile visiting.

The Outpost Lakehouse Reeuwijk is our family home and we spend quality time here with friends and family. We also like other guests to enjoy our home. We love this place for relaxing in the hammock or in a comfortable chair, having drinks, dinners and bbq and cycling, canooing and hiking. Also it is only 15 min bike ride to the charming historic city centre of Gouda.

The house is independant situated with a private garden and privare access on a small scale recreational area with several houses and has its own parking facility. It is a quiet natural area. There is one nice restaurant with great terrace outside nearby at 120 mtrs ('t Vaantje) but other facilities are further away (>2km) Public transportation is not available nearby. Nearest railway stations of Gouda are 3-4 km away. Several supermarkets are in a range of 2-4 kilometer. The historic city centre of Gouda offers many facilities and is only 4 km away. The lake area is unique and beautiful for hiking, canooing (included) and cycling in this famous historic countryside. Other cities such as Den Haag (beach), Rotterdam en Utrecht are within 25-35 km driving distance.
