B&B De Hoffstal

Since March 2020 I am the happy owner and hostess of B&B de Hoffstal. After a long career as a saxophone teacher it was time for a new challenge. The large stable behind our house was in need of a facelift and so the plans for a B&B soon arose. After a year of renovation, the B&B was ready in the spring of 2020 and we could start. Unfortunately Corona threw a spanner in the works, but fortunately we were able to open in May and finally receive guests! The beautiful summer of 2020 has made up for a lot. We have already welcomed a lot of satisfied guests. I like my job as hostess very much. In addition to my work for the B&B, I am also a musician as a saxophonist. My husband Peter also likes to lend a hand in the B&B. In our spare time we like to cruise on the Kaag with our sloop or we like to cycle through the region. We also play golf regularly. Close to the North Sea coast, centrally located in the Randstad, you will find Sassenheim B&B de Hoffstal. What used to be a horse stable is now a modern, attractively furnished B&B with some references to the past. The rooms all have a private entrance, bathroom with toilet, air conditioning, television, free wifi, terrace and private fridge. The B&B is located in a quiet neighbourhood with private parking and within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. B&B de Hoffstal is the perfect base for trips to the beach, the dunes, Keukenhof Lisse and cities such as Amsterdam, Leiden, The Hague and Haarlem.

Our guests like the central location of our B&B. One day you cycle to the beaches of Noordwijk or Katwijk and the next day you cycle through the Bollenstreek in the direction of Leiden or Haarlem for a nice day out in the city. The Keukenhof Lisse is about half an hour by bike. Hikers can enjoy the many walks through the area with bulb fields, forest, dunes and beach. Many guests rent a boat and then spend a day on the Kagerplassen. A visit to Amsterdam remains of course a favourite! B&B de Hoffstal is located within walking distance of the cosy centre of Sassenheim with nice shops and restaurants.
