Located in Damai, Nanga Damai Homestay features a garden and terrace. Among the various facilities of this property are a shared lounge and a bar. The guest house offers an outdoor swimming pool and luggage storage space. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, and selected rooms have a terrace. A continental breakfast is available daily at the guest house. Kuching is 35 km from Nanga Damai Homestay. The nearest airport is Kuching Airport, 40 km from the accommodation. It is preferable that Guests have their own transport, either a car or motorbike/ scooter that can be easily hired in Kuching, online or at the airport. If not, we offer drop-offs to nearby restaurants/cafes located 5-10 mins away for lunch/dinner. We serve breakfast but not other meals. Nanga Damai is Adults only. Guests have to be 18 years or older.

Nanga Damai means “home of peace” in the Iban language, and that’s what you will experience when you stay at Nanga Damai. Enjoy the peace and tranquility of our comfortable architect designed home, set in an exotic tropical garden surrounded by the rainforest with stunning views of the South China Sea. Nanga Damai is a family home in a unique setting, made all the more enjoyable thanks to the pleasure of welcoming guests and enjoying their company. We have been open to guests since 2000, and in that time we have made lasting friendships with people from all corners of the world.

Nanga Damai is situated at Damai on the Santubong peninsula, on the steeply sloping foothills of Mount Santubong (903m), approximately 33 km from Kuching. The house is right at the very edge of Gunung Santubong National Park, and is surrounded by dense primary jungle on three sides. The front of the house overlooks the South China Sea, with panoramic views of the mountains of Southwest Sarawak. The nearest airport is Kuching Airport, 40 km from the accommodation. It is preferable that Guests have their own transport, either a car or motorbike/ scooter that can be easily hired in Kuching, online or at the airport. If not, we offer drop-offs to nearby restaurants/cafes located 5-10 mins away for lunch/dinner. We serve breakfast but not other meals. Dinner is subjected to availability upon request. Nanga Damai is Adults only. Guests have to be 18 years or older.
