Ambong Rainforest Retreat offers an adult-only getaway amidst tropical surroundings. Located on a steep hill within the rainforest, rooms are only accessible via long staircases. It is a 4-minute drive from Pantai Cenang, a 15-minute drive from Langkawi Airport and a 30-minute drive from Kuah Town. Modern rooms each come with a balcony offering forest views. A flat-screen satellite TV and free WiFi is provided. For recreation, an outdoor pool is available. On-site spa and massage treatments can be arranged upon request. Staff can provide laundry services and sightseeing arrangement assistance. There is a Japanese restaurant a 3-minute walk from the hotel.

“早餐非常不错，是西式的，但完全可以接受，而且，所在敞开的大堂里，看着树、猴子和海，体验感很不错。个人认为比住平常的酒店要有意思。房间有大冰箱，微波炉可供使用，饮料是免费的。”

“配套服务超级棒，在酒店内部有shuttle bus很方便，早上可以去rimba点早饭吃（免费的），也是非常好吃的早饭。机场shuttle本来不在服务范围里，但是因为我们最后一天早上打不到车所以也免费送我们去了机场hhh房间带一个小阳台，可以在上面喝喝饮料聊天（饮料也免费！），四周就是很绿的森林。卫生间还有可以冲沙子的水管，总之很方便。如果以后来兰卡威还会再来！（thx Hakeem the driver really help us a lot kkkk）”

From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Beginning 1 July 2016, as directed by the Langkawi Municipal Council, a local government Tourism Promotion Fee would be applicable per room per night.
