Enjoy one of the most emblematic and traditional places of México in a 160 years old house. The House "Villa Alfonsina", located in the heart of Coyoacan is the ideal place for travelers and students from around the world seeking harmony, comfort, peace and a friendly atmosphere in the style of Spanish Moorish architecture and amenities of modern life.
Each room has anything you need for short term stay but also for long term stays.
Each one of our rooms are designed exclusively for two people. For reasons of comfort and security, and to preserve the harmony between our guests, we do not accept children, without exception.
It is forbidden to reserve for another person stay. Due to bad experiences, the administration has decided to prohibit receiving people from outside those who have made the reservation. Except those from: Government (s), diplomatic or academic institutions.

Our prime location offers great benefits. Located just in front from Frida Kahlo´s Museum, home of the famous Mexican artist known worldwide for her works and transcendent life.
That corner is also a Mexico City "Turibus" (Tourist Bus) Stop. Which with only one ticket can take you to visit some of the most wonderful places on the Mexico City.
We are only two blocks from the known Market of Coyoacan, and only four blocks from the Coyoacan Downtown, where during the colonial period, the first Town Hall, and the first Novohispanic goverment was set.
Today a traditional place, forced to be visited, where you can find many facilities such as restaurants, bars, libraries, the traditional coffee "El Jarocho" , the crafts market and the museums of Leon Trotsky, the Museum of Popular Culture, and the Church of San Juan Bautista. We´re 10 minutes walking from the Coyoacan Subway Station (Green Line) from where you can move to the National University (South of the City) and to north, it can take you to the connect with other subway lines such as the Pink Line, wich takes you to Chapultepec.
Also we are 15 minutes walking from the General Anaya Subway Station (Blue Line),
