Our company was founded in 2021 and is 100% family-owned. We manage two additional accommodations besides Na Hotel, which have been in the market for over 20 years.

Na Hotel is named in honor of our beloved great-grandmother and grandparents. This place was their home. We have renovated and restored the space to offer you warm service in a modern setting, located in the historic city of San Cristóbal de las Casas. At Na Hotel, we strive to make each stay feel like an embrace and ensure that every corner tells you a story.

The Barrio de la Merced was founded in 1637, 100 years after the arrival of the friars in the city who established the first convent in the city. According to legend, the diocese camped in May 1537, and the next morning, the box transporting a sculpture could not be moved. This sculpture is what is now known as the Virgin of La Merced, and it was there that the Church of La Merced was built. The Barrio de la Merced is known for the traditional dance festival of the Moors and Christians, celebrated on September 24th. During this festival, a group of masked dancers parade through various streets of the city, accompanied by floats adorned in all sorts of decorations. Lastly, the Barrio de la Merced is distinguished by its handmade candles, votive candles, and decorated candles, all crafted entirely by hand.
