I am a biology teacher, married and engaged in many community and social actions, namely for the protection of the environment. I am very dedicated to the welfare of the local people and the community at large. I hold a master from a French University as well as from a British University. My favorite passion is handicraft, namely with local fibers, and drama. I had the opportunity to visit several countries over the years and am very keen to make friends and help in anyway if need be. I love my small island and would be very happy to share my passion to visitors.

Le Pandanus is a brand new property on the northern coast of Rodrigues where visitors can enjoy the sunset from their balcony. Our one-stop shop concept allows visitors to interact with local people, to discover the local handicraft from our shop and workshop and to enjoy other facilities such as billiard, karaoke as well as other entertainments and most importantly to discover the slow and peaceful Rodriguan life. Basically all facilities at other hotels are available.

The neighborhood is safe, clean and calm. The local people are very pleasant and amicable. The environment is quite intact and we are lucky to have a very large lagoon. During the day one can discover the different sea activities of the local villagers as most are fishers. A few also practice traditional agriculture and in the village of Baie Malgache people of all walk of life live peacefully side by side, facilitating interaction and integration of visitors.
