Room rates on 24 December include a Christmas gala dinner and the rates on 31 December include a New Years gala dinner. Any guests in excess of the maximum occupancy of the room, including children, will be charged separately.
We cannot update it to the VAT/Charges because, children under 12yrs are exempted and this Tourism fees should be payable directly at Hotel and is not commissionable. Please do needful in updating the same as below:
"Kindly note that, commencing 01 October 2025, the Government of Mauritius will introduce a tourist fee of €3 per person per night for hotel stays. Children under 12 will be exempt. The fee will be collected by the establishment."
