The property is situated just at the entrance of the magnificent Three Cities area of the Grand Harbor of Malta. The entrance boasts a high arched hall with an original stone carved staircase. Decorated with the owner's own works of art that continue into the warm contemporary ethnic design of the apartment, the residence has been recently refurbished to the highest standards. Typical Maltese box balconies look out towards the Harbor and the city of Valletta, which is easily accessible by bus or a charming 5 minute boat trip, just 3 minutes walk from the apartment.
The apartment is fully air conditioned with all kitchen appliances, an iron, hairdryer and continental wall socket to power your mobiles and laptops. Besides the necessary bed linen and towels, you will also find welcome treats of coffee, tea, milk, cereal and shower gel to get your trip off to a smooth start.
Bus stops sit just opposite the apartment, where you can take a 20 minute trip to Valletta and connect to anywhere else on the island from there. The main piazza is also just a minute away with all amenities available such as convenience stores, banks, cafeterias, hairdressers and more.
Having spent my entire working life both in the tourism industry and teaching English as a foreign language, I love meeting people from around the globe and learning about different cultures and countries. Though my mother tongue is Maltese, I grew up in New York and actually feel that my native language is indeed English. Having a love of the French language I can have basic conversations in French and I also have a working knowledge of Italian.
Being an established artist, besides preparing and holding personal exhibitions of my work both locally and abroad, I also decorate my premises with my artworks for everyone to contemplate and enjoy. Prints and postcards of local heritage are also available for guests to take home as souvenirs to their loved ones. My latest works over the last few years have in fact been mostly inspired by Malta's 5000 year old heritage and ancient temples, which I reflect in a contemporary and modern style.
I am more than willing to help in any way that I can to ensure that you enjoy your stay in Malta and will hopefully even return to the islands in the future.
The Three Cities consists of Cospicua, Isla and Vittoriosa, which have a wealth of history and have held great importance to the islands throughout the centuries. Cospicua is an up and coming area that is in constant transformation and improvement in recent years, with a newly landscaped marina, restored fortifications, churches and other historical buildings. Old local venues mingle with the modern cafes.
You will stay in an apartment located in an area that still holds the authentic, romantic and true feelings of the islands.
