The 3Cities Auberge, opened January 2019, is a unique romantic historical Maltese House of Character, lovingly and painstakingly restored by its current owners to provide a stylish boutique bed and breakfast accommodation, with two rooms with Four poster beds for honeymooners/romantic getaways.. The house has a wealth of original features, including limestone walls, a large selection of old patterned Maltese floor tiles, exposed wooden beams, an il-garigor (stone spiral staircase) and a Maltese balcony to name but a few. After five years of restoration The 3Cities Auberge now boasts underfloor heating throughout the entire ground floor areas including the patio, to ensure the comfort of the guests during the cooler season. Our majestic property also boasts three separate outside terraces offering sun, shade, garden, relaxation and views of the capital City Valletta, and the Grand Harbour. 周边信息
The 3 Cities Auberge is situated in the heart of the famous Maltese "Three Cities", the accommodation itself is in Bormla, (Cospicua in English). You will find yourself off the beaten track, away from the tourist centres, and living in the quieter streets of the local neighbourhood. Here you will see the old fruit and veg van come round, the gas man hooting once a week, the bread/cake man, the Bigilla man all selling their wares from their vehicles, as they service the local community. The local parish church, dedicated to "Maria Immaculata," is situated just across from the house. The church bells chime the hours, but you will be surprised that you do not even hear them, you soon relax enough to become part of the local community. This area has the genuine feeling of how life used to be, and indeed of an era that some of us miss. We have small family shops around us, a Tuesday weekly market and a Sunday Flea market. Within the The Cities there are museums, restaurants, bars and coastal walks. Perfect not just for a short break as Malta herself has so much to offer, you will find this home from home a great place to retreat to after a busy day exploring Malta.
