"Riad Puchka allows you to stay in a traditional riad right in the heart of one of the most authentic area of Marrakesh, the Ben Saleh quarter. Our home, located next to the Médresa Ben Saleh, built in 1671 by the Sultan Moulay Rachid. It is also close to the Marrakesh museum and the world-famous Djeema El Fna square. Any golfers amongst us? Just hail a taxi or take your car, drive through the Bab El Ghemat gate (route to Ouarzazate) and you are a mere five minutes from the greens of the renowned Royal Marrakesh and Amelkis golf clubs. where you have the likes of the Royal family or Sean Connery playing golf and other personalities such as Charles Aznavour having lunch with friends. Riad Puchka was fully restored in the most authentic and traditional of Moroccan styles; the perfect blend between ancient and modern luxury. We spared no cost at gathering the most talented and able Moroccan artists and craftsmen to create : tadelakt walls (traditional Marrachi wall covering), hand-painted ceilings, hand-sculpted wood and plaster moldings, hand-shaped zellige (typical Moroccan tiles), bejmat (hand-cut floor tiles) and last but not least, trees, plants and flowers everywhere, especia
