Dar Zin is a cozy hotel with six private guest rooms, decorated in traditional Moroccan style. Every room has air-conditioning, cable television, and a private bathroom with a hot shower. There is free WiFi access throughout the whole hotel. On the top floor, there is also an open terrace with a sitting area, where you can enjoy a view of the nearby medina. On the third floor, there is a shared kitchen that the guests can use. We serve a continental breakfast included with your room. If you would like to have a Moroccan lunch or dinner, please feel free to ask and our talented cook can prepare it for you at a reasonable price. If you want to eat in a local restaurant, we can recommend many nearby places and help you to get there. Let us know if you are interested in tours of the Fès medina or in taking day trips to nearby attractions like Chefchaouen and the Akchour Waterfall, Volubilis (Roman ruins), Moulay Idriss, or Meknes. Also, we can arrange for an overnight visit to the Sahara desert, where you can ride a camel and sleep under the stars. We speak many languages, and most importantly, we want to make sure that your holiday in Morocco fulfills all your dreams.

Our small guest house is in a strategic location at the entrance in walking distance of the Blue Gate (“Bab Boujloud”), which is one of 14 gates to the ancient medina of Fès. Within the median, you can find the many attractions, including a university, several schools and mosques, the largest tannery in Africa, and many artisan workshops. Around the Blue Gate are many places to sit with locals and enjoy a cup of coffee or visit the local shops.
