I’m Ashane Aponsu from Negombo, and I’m a Christian who loves following Jesus Christ. I used to work as a cabin crew member for Sri Lankan Airlines, while my wife was a banker and teacher. But now, we’ve chosen a new path—we’re full-time hosts here at Still Waters Artistry, and we truly enjoy every moment of it.
I’m passionate about architecture, and by God’s grace, we were able to design this villa entirely ourselves—both the interior and exterior—specifically with our guests in mind.

This is a honest Description about our property.
Welcome to our newly established tourist board approved licensed colonial-style villa in Negombo, designed to provide a cozy and authentic experience. Please note, we are not a HOTEL but a villa or home with shared spaces, including two kitchens, a lobby, a dining room, and an outdoor area for smoking, reading, or relaxing.
While we are not a high-end luxury property, we have done our best to meet your needs at great value. One unique aspect is the nearby church, where Catholic hymns can be heard in the mornings. While light sleepers may find this a distraction, many guests have enjoyed it as part of their experience. On Sundays, the service lasts until 9:30 AM and can be a bit noisy.
Location:
• Airport: 18-20 minutes by car
• Town: 2 minutes by tuk-tuk / 15 minutes on foot
• Beach: 8-10 minutes by tuk-tuk (USD 1.5 fare) / 30-40 minutes on foot
Even though there are many restaurants around the town we don't recommend them because of hygiene but around the beach is awesome, but we provide freshly made Sri Lankan breakfast, lunch, and dinner, including Kottu. Vegan and gluten-free options are available upon request.
