Our guesthouse has received a full renovation and opened September 2023, under new management.

Property information

Mount Bay Guest House is located on the beautiful beach of Mount Lavinia, Colombo. We have 6 spacious bedrooms, 3 double and 3 twin rooms, which all include air conditioning, attached bathrooms with hot water showers and private balconies with ocean views. We have a rooftop restaurant with a beautiful panoramic seaview where you can enjoy our delicious food and an array of drinks from our fully licensed bar. Mount Lavinia beach is located 20 meters away, crossing the railway track, with its golden sands and blue sea's. Colombo city is approximately 20minutes away by car or tuc tuc.

Neighbourhood information

Mount Lavinia is a bubbly yet chilled out place in a very short distance from Colombo. This is a perfect place to enjoy the sun, the beach, good food and nightlife. We offer offsite water sports activities at the Bolgoda lake as well with jet skis, kayaks, banana and tube rides, boat rides, fishing and lagoon safaris - please ask us for more information.
