Breezy Lake Yala Eco-friendly wetland Cabanas is located in a wetland at the northern end of the eye-catching Wirawila Lake and within the Wirawila Wildlife Sanctuary. The hotel lies in front of marshy land where most of the endemic and migrating birds are landing on this wetland for their meal. You are lucky to observe these birds from your bedroom. Helabana Pannagamuwa is where the property is located; it's an old traditional agricultural and fishery village. 5 cabanas have been designed in an eco-friendly manner. This property has been designed by a chartered architect. It's a mixture of modern and traditional architecture. Most of the time, we have used recyclable materials for our construction, and these are green buildings (constructed according to the criteria of the Green Building Council of Sri Lanka). The walls of the cabana are made of eco bricks (mud bricks), which create a cool and fresh environment inside the room. We haven't removed any trees from the site during construction; all cabanas have been hidden under the trees. We are located in the village of Helabana, which is an old agricultural village. We buy agricultural products from these farmers for hotel use. We promote organic farming. We use a solar-heated hot water system. All rooms are air-conditioned.
