Our lovely vacation villa called " Arches Fort" is located in the heart of the Galle Fort, The city consists of a new part and an old part. The old part of the Galle - Galle Fort, is as its name implies surrounded by a big city wall. The Fort was built by the Dutch beginning in 1663, Even today it is an amazing collection of structures dating back through the centruies. Arches Fort is just blockes away from many restaurants, shops, cafes and museums. We also can serve variety of Srin Lankan breakfasts for free of charge. There are two nice places to sawim, the stairs down to the beach on the south east siide of the rampart walls. And the famous Unawatuna and Hikkaduwa beaches are just 15 and 30 minutes away from Arches Fort. The people in Galle are no stranger for visitors, very friendly. So there isno need to worry about going around.
