You must visit Pigeon Island and do diving. The best place in Sri Lanka for Diving and of course for snorkeling. Make sure to take water bottles and some snacks. As you will most probably stay longer than you expected. Public boat service available all the time. And other place is Kinniya Hot Water Spring Wells. Few wells with different water temperature. Also ancient Temple called "Girihadu Saaya", Its a temple so please take some long trousers but best hiking. There are lot to see, its in the jungle and very safe to visit.
