At the end of an old alley in Jeonju,
where time seems to pause,
there is a small house quietly holding paintings, music, and rest.
Just slightly removed from the heart of the city,
this is a place that waits quietly to be discovered by chance—
a place that has long waited,
and one that serves as both my personal studio and a space where you can stay for a while.
If you happened upon this spot while simply walking,
perhaps it was the gentle change of direction you didn’t know you needed.
This home, designed in the style of a traditional hanok and arranged like a small gallery, accepts only one reservation per day—offering you a quiet, unhurried stay.
The bedroom, kitchen, and living space are all yours to use freely.
I stay on the property for my work,
but if you let me know in advance, I’ll gladly step away to give you full privacy. (Excluding exhibition periods.)
There are no extravagant services here, no ornate decorations—
but somewhere between the paintings and the stillness,
between breath and open space,
I hope your day finds a moment to pause and simply rest.
Hello, I’m BREATH.
I live my days painting, listening to music, and filling my space with the things I love.
This place was originally my studio—and in many ways, it still is.
But at some point, it became a small resting spot for those who stop by and stay for a while.
Throughout the house, you’ll find paintings I’ve created and objects I hold dear.
Feel free to take them in, and if you’re curious about anything, I’d love to share stories with you.
You’re more than welcome to come back and relax after a day of sightseeing—or, if you’d like, we could share a drink together.
(If you bring the drinks, I’ll prepare something delicious to go with them!)
Here, everything flows naturally—just as it should.
The guest room and my space are separate,
but if you ever feel the need for more privacy, just let me know.
I’ll quietly step out for a while—my family home isn’t far from here.
If you're reading this, know that I’ve been quietly waiting to meet you.
And when you turn that corner and arrive here,
I truly hope your day finds peace.
– BREATH
