Set right on the Shirahama Beach of Izu Peninsula, Shimoda Prince Hotel offers an ocean view from every room. Guests can take the free shuttle bus from Izukyushimoda Train Station, or take a 10-minute taxi ride to the hotel.
The air conditioned rooms at Prince Hotel Shimoda features a balcony from where the guests can enjoy the ocean view. Rooms are equipped with a fridge, flat-screen TV and an electric kettle. Free toiletries and Yukata robes are also available in all rooms.
At the hotel, guests can relax in the hot spring bath with an ocean view or get a soothing massage at a surcharge. Other facilities such as kids room(in-door playground) and souvenir shops are also readily available to guests.
There are 2 restaurants on the property. Main Dining Room Kamome serves Japanese-/Western-style creative dishes for breakfast and dinner, while Sushi Rau offers Japanese dishes including kaiseki multi-course dinner featuring sushi and is open for dinners between 17:30 to 22:00.
Shirahama Beach is located right in front of the property and Shirahama Shrine is located within a 7-minute walk away from the Shimoda Prince Hotel. Guests can also take a 15-minute taxi ride or drive to get to the Shimoda Aquarium.
