However, with the blessings of the mountains and the sea, alongside the changing seasons, a culture of overcoming harsh environments was built by our predecessors. We want to leave this region’s culture and its resources for future generations. However, there are some things that just won’t work in the present day without some change. For example, renovating an old Japanese home into hotel accommodation. Turning local and familiar ingredients into something fresh. Creating programs to help you experience the local culture and nature. We will do the following: We will rediscover our region’s value and bring about a new economic boom. We will create a place to let people shine by hiring locals. We will revitalize this land by increasing the number of people involved and by bringing in more visitors. We will make the Wakasa region a place where people want to live.
