A favorite spot of both locals and tourists alike, Tsukiji is a neighborhood where the streets are peaceful outside of its best attraction, the huge market full of a multitude of fresh sushi and sashimi choices. It is also an incredibly convenient hub to be based at where you can access popular Tokyo neighborhoods like Ginza, Akihabara, and Ueno easily. Don't forget to drop by Namiyoke Shrine, where you can see its signature large lion heads.
