A 5-minute drive from National Treasure Matsumoto Castle, Ryokan Seifuso is next to Shinshu University and boasts a view of the Northern Alps and the freshness of the Metoba River. It is ideal for sightseeing such as Kamikochi, a mountainous scenic spot, Norikura Kogen, which has abundant trekking courses, Azumino, an original landscape of Japan blessed with Dosojin and spring water, and Utsukushigahara Kogen, which was praised by Kihachi Ozaki, a mountain poet. The air-conditioned rooms are equipped with a refrigerator, TV and free Wi-Fi. Bathrooms and toilets are shared. Ryokan Seifuso is entirely non-smoking. Free parking (2 locations, 12 spaces, on-site), free rental bicycles and chargeable electric bicycles for sightseeing in the city. For meals, freshly prepared seasonal Japanese dishes are served. Western breakfast is available upon request (reservation made at reception), and vegetarian options are also available. Yoghurt with homemade honey is served at breakfast.

Hand drawn map around Ryokan, Asama Onsen and City centre are available for guest! Restaurants with tips, recommendations and English menus as well as few interesting places / shops / areas to explore. Free rental bicycles make it easy to go around the town and cycling or walking by the stream-side road. Rental books and "take-one leave-one" library available in many languages. If you would like to order breakfast please let us know at the check in. With additional price you can enjoy hearty Japanese breakfast or tasty Western breakfast. Vegetarian or Vegan is also available on request.

周边信息

Ryokan Seifu-so is located outside of the city centre ( 40 mins walk / 20 mins cycle / 12 mins by bus / 10 mins by car ). Seifu-so is ideal for guest looking for quiet, relax stay. There is a river in front of Ryokan with grass river bank where people have picnic, play music, read books and relax, enough space for children to play. Around Seifu-so there are a few restaurant ( Indian, Japanese Omlette rice, some ramen restaurant) , a supermarket all less than 5 mins walk from ryokan. Japanese set-meal, family restaurant, Mos burger, THE BEST TONKATSU and Italian restaurant as well as a small skatepark and coin laundry is 10 mins walk. Asama Onsen is also very close to Seifu-so (15 mins walk, 8 mins cycle) where you can enjoy a short mountain walk and lovely onsen experience.
