Guests at Rurikoh Ryokan sleep in Japanese-style futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor.
A flat LCD, fridge, air conditioning, electric kettle, yukuta robes, slippers, towels, a hairdryer, and toothbrushes are provided in each room. Rooms have a traditional decor and include an en suite bathroom. Free WiFi is available throughout the property.

Guests can also arrive from Kyoto Station, a 2-hour train ride from the property. Eihei-ji Temple is a 50-minute drive from Rurikoh. The Historic Villages of Shirakawa-go and Gokayama, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is 2 hours away via car.

“The outdoor onsen is better than Hatori with beautiful autumn leaves and spacious. Therefore you can skip Hatori and stay at Rurikoh instead. The free snack wholeday was really good with lots of choices. Keep this going.”
