Housed in a historic Japanese building more than 80 years old, Rakucho Ryokan is a 15-minute walk from Kitaoji Subway Station.
Featuring a Japanese garden and antique furniture, it offers traditional Japanese lodging with free Wi-Fi in public areas.
It is far from the city center, so it is not recommended for those who want to spend time in the city.(Approximately 5km)
However, you can get to the city center in 20 minutes by bus.
(It takes 20min and comes every 10min.)
Guest rooms feature a tatami (woven-straw) floor and traditional futon bedding. Air conditioning and heating facilities are fitted in all rooms, while an electric kettle and green tea bags are provided. Bathrooms and toilets are shared.
The Ryokan has a shared microwave, Coin-operated laundry machines are available as well. Guests can use the internet terminal in the common area for free.
