Naka Karuizawa Koya Backpackers hostel is a traditional Japanese home. The building was moved from its original location to Karuizawa in the early 1900's. We have renovated the building without altering its original atmosphere...the floors still make sounds and the noise of the wind and the light from outside remind you that you are staying in an authentic Japanese traditional home. There are no key at each rooms, please use the lockers or take care of your important items your self.

Guests are advised to take a bus or taxi to reach the property from Karuizawa Station or Nakakaruizawa Station. The nearest bus stops are Hoshino Onsen Tonbo No Yu and Karuizawa Sengataki Onsen Iriguchi Bus Stop.

If you need to check in after 21:00. due to unavoidable circumstances, please contact us before 21:00. Please note that check-in after 22:00 is not possible.

The curfew and lights-out time is 23:00.

Luggage storage service is available before check-in upon reservation.
