Since I came to Japan 10 years ago, I was deeply attracted by its rich nature as well as the great variety of culture. Over the years, I have been continuously exploring the beautiful scenery and all kinds of gourmet in this country. After I finished my Doctoral Program in Humanities at Osaka University in early 2018, I started my tourism business in Kyoto, aiming at letting more people around the world understand how charming the Japanese culture is, and inviting them to experience life in Kyoto as local people do.

Kamogawa, a river conveying the memories of Kyoto from thousands years ago, flows through this ancient capital in silence. In the middle of Kyoto, the Nijo Castle area, is where our "Kyomachi Shujaku" located. This house is named after Vermillion bird, a mythological spirit creature in Japanese culture.
