This is a guesthouse utilizing a traditional Japanese house, located a 1-minute walk from Azuki Beach, a famous surfing spot. It opened in 2024. After the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, we relocated to this town from temporary housing in 2015 and opened the first simple lodging in Hanabuchi Beach in 2016, the first since the disaster. The address of the first property is Hanabuchi Beach, Tenjindo, with the nearest bus stop being "Wariyama." The address of this facility is Hanabuchi Beach, Kinsho. The nearest bus stop is Takayama.
The interior has not been extensively renovated yet, but we plan to gradually refurbish it to create a comfortable and pleasant lodging experience. As for checking in we use software called taxchargeautomation which is self developed in this accommodation, for enhancing user experience satisfaction. Thank you veru much for your understanding and cooperation.
I’m a surfer from Sapporo, Hokkaido, who settled in this area and now runs another lodging nearby. Back in 2016, when I first opened my business, I was still a salaryman! In 2023, I left behind 18 years as a corporate worker and over 20 years in sales to become a full-time entrepreneur. Surfing is my passion, as you might guess, and lately, I’ve been hooked on kayak fishing. I’ve even noticed my eyes turning from black to brown—probably from all that UV exposure! To all the travelers from Europe and the Americas: come visit Shichigahama Town, where the sunshine is so intense you’ll want sunglasses, yet the breeze keeps things refreshingly cool. We can’t wait to welcome you!
t's just 8 km to Tagajo Station.
This serene fishing village buzzes with visitors coming for Matsushima sightseeing, surfing, and fishing.
Right in front of the inn lies "Umi no Takayama," one of Japan's three major summer resort areas.
Matsushima, one of Japan's three most famous scenic views, features around 260 large and small islands—but most are uninhabitable, with only a handful where people actually live. From the nearby "Marine Gate Shiogama," you can hop on the "Basho Cruise" connecting Shiogama and Matsushima, or sightseeing boats that tour the islands between Shiogama and the Urato Islands. Especially during the Shiogama Port Festival in July, our facility comes alive with crowds of international tourists.
In the surrounding waters, fishing kicks off in early summer with catches like ainame (known as abarako in Hokkaido dialect), maguchi, and hirame. Summer brings migratory fish such as kanpachi, inada, and saba, while autumn sees larger species like sawara and sitabirame. Paddle out a short distance on a kayak, and you might even spot wild dolphins or finless porpoises swimming right up close.
Seafood production thrives here too, with active abalone and nori seaweed farming. Nearby in "Tachishita," you'll find the "Kohama Yacht Harbor" managed by the Offshore Sailing Association, along with the "Takayama Foreign Summer Resort"—a historic villa area for missionaries, originally serving as a summer retreat for those living in Japan. That's why the adjacent Omotehama Beach is affectionately nicknamed "Gaijin Beach" (Foreigner Beach). Unfortunately, BBQs on the town's beaches have been completely banned in recent years. 自社開発の応答なし. 英語"Developed in-house"英語をCould you please clarify or provide the text you want translated into English?
