License number (CIR): 103008-ALB-00006. Set next to an old church, family-run Hotel Azalea is in Baveno,100 metres from Lake Maggiore and 400 metres from the train station. It offers free Wi-Fi throughout. Offering peaceful and quiet surroundings, this hotel has its own gardens with an outdoor pool with hot tub, and a sun terrace with loungers and umbrellas. Spacious rooms at Azalea Hotel come with satellite TV and air conditioning. Some rooms have beautiful lake views. Breakfast here is a large buffet of sweet and savoury items. There is a lounge and a TV room, and drinks and snacks are served at the bar. The hotel is only 100 metres from the harbour for ferries to the Borromean Islands. A public bus with links to Verbania and Stresa stops a 5-minute walk from the Azalea. Malpensa airport is 45 km away.
