We built The Beach House as our family home and we live on the upper floors. We converted the ground floor into 3 separate en-suite rooms to create a small and friendly B&B. We have a great location, directly opposite the beach, and only a short journey from the historical centre of Taormina (3kms and easily reached by local bus, taxi or car). The rooms have a cool beach feel and all have air-conditioning, en-suite shower room, mini fridge, tea and coffee making facilities plus the usual flat screen TV and fast wifi. Rooms are cleaned daily. Simply cross the road from our house and you can dive into the crystal clear water! The great thing about being at the beach is that there is none of the chaos you find in Taormina, there's a much more chilled vibe, a slower pace and fewer tourists.

My name is Teresa and I'm English, I met my husband, Francesco a long time ago whilst I was working for a major British Tour Operator in Taormina. We have two daughters ... Ocean and Skye. I think I mentioned that we live upstairs which means that we are always close by should you need help, advice or information. All 3 of our B&B rooms are located on the ground floor.

Italians love the beach at 'Mazzeo' as the water is very clean and the beaches are wide and spacious, so great for bathing. Within walking distance of The Beach House there are plenty of small shops, mini-markets, restaurants, bars, cafès, pizzeria's and ice-cream parlours. There is a long beach promenade that leads from Mazzeo to the neighbouring resort of Letojanni, a pleasant stroll of about 2kms. (Or a good run for the more energetic)! If you want to venture up the hill to the cosmopolitan resort of Taormina, there are various bus services available. The quickest being the shuttle bus that stops just across the road from our house and takes you the centre in approx. 10 minutes. We do not have private parking due to the fact we live along the main beach promenade. You can park locally for free, it's usually pretty easy to find a parking space although it does get busy at weekends and during the month of August when the beaches are full. Alternatively, should you prefer, paid parking is also available close by.
