Offering spacious air-conditioned rooms set around a stone courtyard, the San Giovanni Vecchio is in the heart of the Matera Sassi, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Each room has a private entrance. All accommodation at San Giovanni Vecchio - Residenza is en suite and features vaulted ceilings in bare stone. You will also find an LCD TV with satellite channels, tea and coffee-making facilities, and free WiFi. One room is located in an ancient cistern, on basement level. Guests have access to a shared terrace. The property overlooks Matera Cathedral. It is a 50-minute drive from Metaponto beach on the Ionian Coast. Guests can enjoy discounted rates at a nearby partner car park. You can enjoy an Italian Breakfast at an extra charge, which includes a coffee product, a fruit juice and a croissant.
