The Umbertino neighborhood, where my house is located, was born in the early 1900s. It is located near the railway station and, at the same time, just a few minutes from the sea. There are many bakeries and patisseries that offer very tasty local products, in particular, focaccia: do not forget to taste it! Going to the sea, you will find excellent restaurants with good prices offering fish menus, or the famous pasta with pesto, stoccafisso in umido, the mesciua, typical soup of legumes, poor dish of the tradition of La Spezia. Taste everything, you will be satisfied!
