APARTMENT: Kyanos Residence is composed of 3 apartments* located on the ground floor that access a shared patio, equipped with tables, chairs and outdoor benches. Another 3 apartments* are located on the first floor and have a gallery/balcony equipped with outdoor tables and chairs. Finally, our apartment Kore is the only apartment with a private terrace. During the booking process it will not be possible to decide which apartment to choose, however we will do our best to satisfy any preferences expressed by our customers. The apartment will be defined on the same day of check in. * Please note that in our apartments there is NO door separating the bedroom from the living room-kitchen. SOFA BED: Please note that the sofa bed will be prepared in the case of the third and fourth guest. In case you are two guests who prefer to have separate beds, we can prepare the double sofa bed in the living room upon request at an additional cost of 20 euros. PARKING: We do not have a private parking lot, but it will be possible to leave the car for free on the public road near the entrance of our structure (Via Cuma) and reach the island of Ortigia (ZTL) with a 12-minute walk. PETS: Your four-legged friends are welcome, we ask you to report their presence and we remind you that there will be an additional cost for final cleaning of 20 euros. WASHING MACHINE: In our facility you will find the washing machine in a common area "laundry". You can use the washing machine with our soap at a cost of 5 euros or only the washing machine at a cost of 4 euros. TOURIST TAX: your reservation DOES NOT include the tourist tax, which will be paid on site. The tourist tax is determined per person and per overnight stay and is quantified as a percentage of 4% of the cost of the overnight stay, net of VAT.

Our structure is family-run and our goal is to do everything possible so that our guests can spend a pleasant holiday at and go to discover Syracuse and its surroundings. Therefore we provide all the possible information to our guests, we organize local wine tasting tours, boat trips, diving and more.

The neighborhood that serves the structure has all the small commercial activities: such as bars, bakery, pharmacy, minimarket or tobacconist. BEACH: the Residence is 1.4 km from a small beach located in the Porto Piccolo of Syracuse. The bathing beaches are 15 km away (Fontane Bianche and Arenella). SANTA LUCIA: A few steps from the structure, there is the Basilica of Santa Lucia where inside you can admire the painting by Caravaggio (The Burial of Santa Lucia) and also visit the beautiful and mysterious Catacombs of Santa Lucia. During the celebrations for the Patron from 13 to 21 December, the silver simulacrum is hosted at the basilica and a typical market is set up. ORTIGIA: A 12-minute walk takes you to the historic center of Ortigia. In summer, you can access a free cliffside solarium, two minutes from the property (except in 2025) or a private beach, with the possibility of having a beach umbrella and deckchairs.
