I am a young Dutch woman who loves traveling, history, culture, food, and nature. I studied and lived all over Europe on my way to becoming a Food Anthropologist. While in Florence for a research project, I fell in love with the city, its people, its history, and ... well a Florentine man of course! Ten years have passed since I decided to move here and now I enjoy a full Italian family life with all the jolly parties and joyful traditional Italian festivities this wonderful country has to offer. The David Room exudes strength and elegance, paying homage to the iconic sculpture by Michelangelo, while the Venus Room radiates beauty and grace, inspired by the timeless masterpiece of Botticelli. And don’t forget Perseus! However, the true highlight of my apartment lies just beyond the doors—a private garden oasis awaiting your discovery. Located just around the corner from Piazza Santissima Annunciata and the Academia, our apartment offers unparalleled access to Florence's most renowned attractions, ensuring an unforgettable stay in this captivating city.

The apartment is located around the corner from the Academy Gallery (300m) and a 5-minute walk from the Duomo square. From here you can walk through the famous Via Calzaiuoli towards the Signoria Square to see the Palazzo Vecchio, Uffizi Gallery, and Ponte Vecchio. The train station is 15 minutes away, here you can also find a bus station to travel to other locations in Tuscany. Piazza San Marco is around the corner from the apartment, where you can take various local buses. For instance, to go up to Fiesole.
