住宿信息
Casa VerbaVolant is a somewhat special structure: it is born from the love of the owners, Elio and Fausta, for books, paper and typewriters. A perfect place for lovers of reading, writing but not only: a place cared for in every detail, where nothing is left to chance: from products at km 0 for breakfasts, to artisan soap to olive oil that you will find in the bathrooms, passing through our library. Guests also have access to the Continental Room, a space where workshops and literary events are organized and a small area dedicated to exhibitions.
Casa VerbaVolant is the perfect place for unusual holidays!
The three rooms, Hermes, Olivetti and Triumph are dedicated to as many typewriters and to the writers who used them: Douglas Adams, Italo Calvino and Ian Fleming. In each, of course, you will also find a working machine with which you can write a letter or, why not, your first novel!
In the same building there are also 7 thematic apartments as well as the Remington suite and Royal, with a terrace overlooking Porto Grande and Piazza Duomo!

周边信息
Casa VerbaVolant is located in an ancient building in the heart of the island of Ortigia, near Piazza del Duomo, opposite the baroque church of the Collegio. The island is one of the favorite destinations of travelers from all over the world. Visit the most famous places or explore the narrow streets of the historic center while admiring the most suggestive views. If you wish, you can also sunbathe or swim in the cool waters of the island. You will also find a wide selection of bars, restaurants, pizzerias and bistros.
Ortigia can be reached by car but, on weekends and holidays, it is ZTL. So pay attention to the traffic lights at the entrance to the island. Mini buses, taxis and other means of transport can stop in Piazza Archimede, a few steps from Casa VerbaVolant. But Ortigia must be visited on foot, indulging in long and relaxing walks, through the narrow streets or near the sea, enjoying sunrises and sunsets and breathing in the scent of salt.
