"Casa Giglio" is a typical Carloforte's house, independent and on two floors, with renovated interiors.
Located in the upper part of the historic center, just below the castle, "Casa Giglio" is easily reachable from the tourist port (250 meters), very close to the sea, to the main square, to restaurants, bars, ice cream parlors, and to all kinds of services. At five minutes on foot from the house there is the stop of the bus that leads to all the main beaches of the island.
Although the house rises in the heart of the town, the area is not busy, but quiet, airy and bright.
The entrance on the ground floor opens to a well-equipped and well-structured kitchen: the soul of the living area. Dishwasher, column fridge with freezer, oven and microwave are just some of the main comforts that this area offers.
The house has on the first floor a large double bedroom with balcony and canopy bed, a small room with bunk beds suitable for children, and a comfortable bathroom with shower.
There are also the washing machine and the hot/cold conditioning system, which allows you to enjoy the beauty of Carloforte in any season.
Hi.
I'm Leonardo and I'm 29 years old. I love reading, traveling, and playing sports.
I hope to welcome you soon, to show you the pristine beauty of this part of Sardinia.
"Casa Giglio" is located just below the "Fort Carlo Emanuele III", built in the spring of 1738 and for this reason considered the first masonry construction of the island. Built for the guard of the newly created acropolis and for the meetings of the heads of families, and later used as a prison for the administration, today the Fort houses the "Museo del Duca".
The neighborhood of Casa Giglio, according to the analysis of historical cartography, turns out to be the first housing nucleus that existed in Carloforte. Despite the passage of the centuries this area still represents a part of the beating heart of the town with its story and its traditions, but without losing the quiet worthy of a great holiday.
