With your stay, you’ll support both the social services for the children of the Gould Institute - that operates in the same building – and the social programs run by the Waldesian and Methodist Church for the elderly and people in need.

Property information

The Foresteria Valdese is housed in a palace in the centre of Florence where the history of a noble residence has been intervowen with that of the Waldensian Church. A guesthouse where you can stay admiring outstanding works of art while supporting the social projects run by the church.

Neighbourhood information

We are in the center of Florence, in Oltrarno, 500 mt from Ponte Vecchio, 20 minutes walk from the Duomo and the Santa Maria Novella Central Railway Station. The heart of the Oltrarno still keeps the old florentine traditions. You’ll find several trattorie where you can have typical dishes as well as outdoor markets and workshops in the nearby.
