ABOUT THE PROPERTY
In this house you will have a taste of the so-called "case di ringhiera", that is to say a tenement with communal balconies. It's very typical of Italian towns (mostly in the Northern part of the country) to have this peculiar style of inner courtyards where all the apartments entries are like open balconies overlooking the courtyard. In this case, the building in front of ours is really nice because it has typical Parisian roofs.
Inside the house, you will appreciate a cozy melting pot of furniture and arrangement of the spaces where the details harmoniously connect one space to the following one.
Moreover, we have provided the apartment with the most useful equipment in order to make your stay pleasant and comfortable.
ABOUT THE HOST
I will receive you in person to welcome you and explain to you the characteristics of the house and the district. Please note that I will always be available in case of need.
It's a pleasure for me to welcome people from all around the world and get in touch with many different cultures.
I love travelling and meeting people that like to share with me something about their countries and cultures, for all our guests who wish to.
I love animals (even though they are not allowed in the house in order to respect our allergic guests), art, nature and culture.
I believe in respect, both for people and things, and I'm glad to welcome people and to be able to be of help to all those that will ask me for suggestions.
ABOUT THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
"Cit Turin" is a very lively distric, with plenty of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and bars for everyone to enjoy. The "Benefica" open air market is very famous as far as clothing and accessories are concerned.
"Cit Turin" is also the famous Liberty district of the city and many buildings have been conceived by famous architects, so it is very nice to stroll along the streets and watch all these elegant palaces. The most famous ones are "Villa La Fleur" and the so-called "Dragons' house" in Corso Francia.
There are also guided tours explaining the district's history and showing its most beautiful palaces.
Moreover, you can reach the heart of the city by walking pleasantly under the "Portici", built by the Royal family when Turin was the first capital of Italy, or by strolling along the small streets of the ancient "Quadrilatero romano", the heart of the Romans first settlement.
And finally, the proximity to the railway, bus and metro stations make this district very strategically located.
